牧場内の畑での実証実験
弓削牧場はバイオガスのミニプラントのプロジェクトを２０１５年から行い、そこから生まれる副産物であるバイオガス液肥は、２０１８年に有機JAS資材認証を取得。２０２０年よりバイオガス液肥を使った野菜やハーブの栽培の実証実験を牧場内においても本格的に開始しました。
畑の写真の左奥に設置されたグリーンの５００Lタンクには液肥を常備、いつでも撒きやすくまた補充しやすくしています。
牧場の位置する六甲山はもともと真砂土で、土壌に栄養素を蓄えにくい性質があるため、完熟堆肥を定期的に投入していた畑に、農薬・化学肥料を一切使わずに、バイオガス液肥のみでの栽培に挑戦しています。
過去３年を経てわかってきたのは、バイオガス液肥が持つ肥料成分（NPK)の効果だけでなく、土壌中の微生分の活性化を促し、土の団粒構造を促進する土壌改良剤としての可能性です。
農薬や化学肥料などを一切使わないという安心感はもちろん、野菜やハーブの味そのものが風味豊かで生き生きとして、本当に美味しいとシェフの皆さんにもお墨付きを頂いています。場内のチーズハウスでお出ししているハーブ、野菜はもちろんここから収穫され、採れたてをそのままお皿に乗せてお届けしています。
